WHMIS

The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System is Canada's national hazard communication standard. The key elements of the system are cautionary labelling of controlled product containers, supplying material safety data sheets, plus worker education and training programs.

 

First Aid Basics

Learning how to respond appropriately to first aid and emergency situations that may arise at work, home, and around the community is important. With this course I learned basic first aid skills.

 

Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness

This training provided a general introduction to workplace health and safety with a focus on the health and safety rights and responsibilities of workers, supervisors and employers under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. 

 

Working At Heights

This course consisted of two parts, establishing a level of high quality and consistency for training workers who work at heights in the Province of Ontario.
